Moscow and Tehran plan projects in politics and economy - Iranian ambassador

MOSCOW. March 22 (Interfax) - Iranian ambassador to Russia, Mehdi Sanai, has voiced the intentions of the two countries to implement several projects in politics, economy and other spheres.

"I am sure that, in the new year, we will observe examples of implementation of many joint projects in economy, politics, industry and other spheres," he said at the opening of a branch of the Islamic Azad University in Moscow.

"We are at the stage of expanding relations. During the last two years, relations between Russia and Iran have been developing in all directions - bilateral, regional and international," the ambassador added.

"Relations are developing, and strengthening, day after day. There is great potential for the cooperation of Russia and Iran," he stressed.
