Peskov: wrong to draw any conclusions on resuming flights to Egypt until all details of Egyptian plane incident established

MOSCOW. March 29 (Interfax) - The Kremlin believes it is still too early to make any suggestions on the issue of resuming flights to Egypt until all circumstances of Tuesday's incident involving an Egyptian airplane are established.

"Quite controversial information is arriving at this point. Consequently, it would be wrong to draw any conclusions. It is also wrong to draw any conclusions on the issue of resuming air traffic [with Egypt] until all circumstances of what happened are fully established," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

This topic is "highly sensitive and important," Peskov said.

"Ensuring our citizens' security is the main priority, but I would like to repeat once again that it would be wrong to draw any hasty conclusions," he said.

Peskov said this after being asked whether the recent hijacking of an Egyptian airplane could impact the timeframe for resuming air traffic with Egypt.
