Lavrov to meet with Azeri, Iranian foreign ministers in Baku on April 7
MOSCOW. March 31 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, will visit Baku on April 7, to hold negotiations with the Azeri and Iranian foreign ministers, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.
"The Russian foreign minister will visit Baku on April 7, to take part in a meeting between the foreign ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Iran," Zakharova said at a news briefing on Thursday.
"An exchange of opinions is planned on regional cooperation matters of mutual interest; in particular, the parties plan to discuss promising transportation projects and multilateral interaction on the Caspian," she said.
Lavrov is also planning negotiations with Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic in Moscow on April 1, and is to meet with Austrian Federal Minister of Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs Sebastian Kurz on April 5.
