Russia ups oil production 3.1% in Q1, reduces gas output 0.3%
MOSCOW. April 4 (Interfax) - Russia produced 135.424 million tonnes of oil and gas condensate in the first quarter of 2016, 3.1% more than in the same period of 2015, the latest data from Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex (CDU TEK) show.
Russian crude exports to countries outside the FSU rose 5.2% year-on-year to 56.903 million tonnes in the first quarter.
Natural gas production in the country slipped 0.3% year-on-year to 169.257 billion cubic meters in the first quarter.
When analysing this information, one should take into account that there was one more day in February 2016 than a year earlier.
