Russia ready to cooperate with NATO to fight terrorism in Afghanistan - Russian Foreign Ministry

(Technical repeat)

MOSCOW. April 11 (Interfax) - Moscow is ready to work jointly with NATO in fighting terrorism in Afghanistan, provided the Alliance is similarly ready, said Zamir Kabulov, the Russian President's Special Representative for Afghanistan and Director of the Second Asia Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"We are ready for such cooperation," Kabulov told Interfax.

"This is possible on condition of honest and frank cooperation on NATO's part. This, as they say, is a two-way traffic street," the Russian diplomat said.
