Russian diplomat, Syrian politician discuss upcoming talks in Geneva

MOSCOW. April 11 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian Special Presidential Representative, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov received deputy secretary general of the Syrian Committee of the Democratic Patriotic Action, member of the Syrian patriotic opposition 'Hmeimim Group' Meys Kredi in Moscow on Monday.

"At the talks, the sides had an interested exchange of opinions about topical issues of political settlement in Syria, in the context of a forthcoming second round of indirect intra-Syrian talks involving the 'Hmeimim Group' representatives due in Geneva, under the UN aegis," says a Russian Foreign Ministry's statement released on Monday.
