Red Cross representatives trying to find out fate of missing Karabakh soldier

STEPANAKERT. April 11 (Interfax) - A state commission of the breakaway Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), in charge of prisoners-of-war, hostages and missing persons, and representatives from the International Committee of the Red Cross, continue joint efforts to find out the fate of a Karabakh military serviceman who went missing.

The bodies of 18 out of the 19 NKR servicemen who went missing after the situation in the Karabakh conflict zone escalated on April 2-5, have been returned, Viktor Kocharyan, a member of the commission, said on the NKR public television on Monday. One remains unaccounted for.

Kocharian also said that all of the bodies have been identified by relatives.
