Significant evidence seized during search of Khodorkovsky's press secretary's flat - prosecutor
MOSCOW. April 13 (Interfax) - A search carried out as part of the "big Yukos case" at the house of Kulle Pispanen, a press secretary for the oil company's ex-chief last December, yielded some significant evidence pertaining to the case, Prosecutor Valery Lakhtin said.
"Considering that the items and documents seized during the search are of significance to the criminal case, which we will analyze in detail, I am asking that the session be held behind closed doors," the prosecutor said on Wednesday at the Moscow city court, which is hearing a complaint against the search of Pispanen's flat.
"The information about the seized items and documents, and about Pispanen's relation to this criminal case is essential to the case and constitutes a legal secret," he said.
