Stepanakert reports more truce violations by Azerbaijan

STEPANAKERT. April 13 (Interfax) - Azeri forces violated the truce on the contact line in the Karabakh conflict zone on Wednesday evening, a spokesperson for the defense ministry of the breakaway Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) told Interfax on Wednesday.

Between 5:15 p.m. and 6 p.m., the Azeri forces fired four shots from an 82-millimeter mortar launcher toward the northeast (Martakert), the spokesperson said. At 5:50 p.m., the Azeri fired eight shots from a 60-millimeter mortar launcher, toward the village of Talish in the NKR's Martakert district.

"The NKR defense army units continue observing the oral ceasefire agreement reached by the parties, and only act in response in the event of extreme necessity," the NKR defense ministry.
