Deputy Prime Minister Rogozin: Western sanctions to last for long
MOSCOW. April 19 (Interfax) - Western sanctions against Russia will last forever, and Russia needs to get accustomed to that, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin has said.
"It is time to get accustomed to the fact that the sanctions will last forever one way or another, that they will be accompanying our country always and every time it demonstrates its obvious intentions, its ambitions to be an independent country and to independently compose the agenda of foreign and domestic life," Rogozin said at a congress of the Russian Union of Machine Builders in Moscow on Tuesday.
This means that "we need to move on, towards new industrialization of Russia under objectively or subjectively created circumstances," he said.
