Armenia continues to buy Russian armaments - prime minister

YEREVAN. April 20 (Interfax) - The Armenian government has funds to buy armaments, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has said.

"We have the money, the [procurement] process goes on, and all the armaments we have planned to purchase will soon be bought [from Russia]," Abrahamyan told reporters on Wednesday.

The Armenian government did not ask "for raising of funds for army needs," the prime minister said. "All assistance, including that to families of the deceased, is being provided on voluntary terms," he said.
