UralChem increased output 4% in Q1 to 1.6 mln tonnes
MOSCOW. April 22 (Interfax) - Group UralChem in the first quarter of this year increased its output of saleable products by 4% year-on-year to 1.6 million tonnes, the company said in a statement.
Production of ammonia and nitrogen fertilizer remained at the same level as Q1 2015 with 773,000 tonnes of ammonium nitrate, 215,000 tonnes of ammonium and 306,000 tonnes of urea being produced.
The production of complex fertilizers grew 25% to 178,000 tonnes, while phosphoric fertilizers were up 2.5-fold to 43,000 tonnes.
UralChem CEO Dmitry Konyaev said the company plans to produce 6 million tonnes of saleable products in 2016.
In 2015 UralChem's output of saleable products rose 4% to 5.894 million tonnes.
