Court arrests Baltstroy employee suspected in 'restoration case'
MOSCOW. April 23 (Interfax) - Moscow's Lefortovsky District Court has sanctioned Baltstroy employee Vladimir Svanbek's arrest until June 21 in a case dealing with the embezzlement of budget funds allocated for the restoration of cultural heritage sites.
"The Lefortovsky District Court has ruled to take Vladimir Konstantinovich Svanbek into custody for two months, that is, until June 21," Lefortovsky District Court press secretary Yekaterina Krasnova told Interfax on Saturday.
Svanbek is suspected of major fraud (Russian Criminal Code Article 159 Part 4).
