DPR Defense Ministry reports presence of OSCE observers at Donetsk parade

DONETSK. May 9 (Interfax) - Representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission watched the military hardware participating in the Monday parade in Donetsk. All the weapons are being moved to their permanent locations, in accordance with the Minsk agreements, the Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) has said.

"OSCE observers attended the parade and watched the hardware. We are complying with the Minsk agreements. All the weapons are being returned to storage sites from the location of the parade dedicated to the 71st anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. We have withdrawn the weapons from the city, and the monitoring mission is verifying their numbers. We will tow all weapons back to storage sites overnight, when city streets are not busy," commander of the Donetsk operative command Denis Sinenkov has told reporters.
