Vimpelcom revenue flat at 66.3 bln rubles in Q1

MOSCOW. May 12 (Interfax) - Vimpelcom , the Russian division of telecom group Vimpelcom Ltd., earned revenue of 66.297 billion rubles in the first quarter of 2016, about the same as a year earlier, the group reported.

The Russian company's EBITDA slumped 8% to 24.2 billion rubles, and adjusted EBITDA fell 7% to 24.2 billion rubles. The EBITDA margin dropped to 36.4% from 39.4% a year earlier.

Vimpelcom had 57.7 million subscribers at the end of the quarter, up 4% from 55.7 million a year earlier.
