RusHydro might raise up to 30 bln rubles from VTB

MOSCOW. May 13 (Interfax) - The board of directors of RusHydro has approved contracts to open a credit line at state bank VTB with a limit of 30 billion rubles, the Russian hydropower company reported.

The combined interest rate cannot exceed the Central Bank's rate by more than 4 percentage points. The maximum duration of borrowing is 15 years.

This issue will be considered at the company's annual general meeting on June 27.

The company has active credits at Sberbank for 40 billion with repayment before November 17, 2020; 10.6 billion rubles until December 4, 2018 and 2.8 billion rubles until April 7, 2022.

In addition the company has open credits at UniCredit - 127,796,550 euros until August 28, 2026 and at European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) - 8 billion rubles until March 10, 2026 and 4.4 billion rubles until October 14, 2025, Bayerische Landesbank for 16,485,731 euros until April 30, 2025. Also the company has an open credit at Credit Agricole for 190.3 million euros until July 4, 2029.

RusHydro Group is a power holding that manages hydropower plants in Russia. Installed capacity of the group's plants is 38.5 gigawatts of capacity, including the power capacities of OJSC RAO Energy System of East and the Boguchanskaya HPP. The state is the majority shareholder.
