Economy minister opposes raising tax burden on oil sector

MOSCOW. May 17 (Interfax) - Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev believes it would be inadvisable to increase the tax burden on Russia's oil sector.

"It's quite certain that the tax burden on oil companies should not be increased, particularly since we've said this publicly," Ulyukayev said in an interview on TV channel Rossiya 24.
