Myanmar's president expecting Russian investments in republic's business
MOSCOW. May 19 (Interfax) - Myanmar's President Htin Kyaw welcomes Russian investments in the republic's businesses.
"We were very happy to learn that Russian companies, Russian businesses are interested in Myanmar's economy, in its development and in work in mutually beneficial areas of cooperation. And we, of course, would very much welcome Russian investments in Myanmar," he said.
Kyaw thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin for the invitation to a bilateral meeting during the Russia-ASEAN summit and for the special relationship and hospitality offered to Myanmar. The president of Myanmar especially remarked upon his appreciation of the beauty of Sochi's natural environment.
