Domodedovo payouts to terrorist attack victims to begin on May 24 - lawyer
MOSCOW. May 20 (Interfax) - Starting on May 24, the Domodedovo Airport administration will be making payouts to the victims in the case over the 2011 terrorist attack, the victims' lawyer Igor Trunov told Interfax on Friday.
"At a meeting held today with airport representatives, we agreed that we will not be waiting for the fund to open, and payouts will begin as early as next Tuesday," Trunov said on Friday.
The charitable fund for helping victims of the attack, the creation of which was announced by Trunov earlier, will be registered around the same time.
"Parallel to the fund's registration, the first 50 people will receive some money," said the lawyer, without specifying the sum.
