EAEU PMs agree on concept for common oil markets - Belarusian PM

YEREVAN. May 23 (Interfax) - The heads of the governments of Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) members have formulated common approaches to the concept for establishing common union markets for oil and oil products, Belarusian Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov said on Friday.

The concept for establishing common oil and oil product markets in the EAEU is a priority issue for Minsk, Kobyakov said at an expanded meeting of the EAEU Intergovernmental Council.

"Literally a few dozen minutes ago we finished a meeting in the narrow format and, generally speaking, on the most difficult issue - pricing of oil and oil products within the Eurasian Economic Union, we really hope that we found common approaches in order to finally formulate points that satisfy the parties in order to report to the heads of state that this concept is ready for approval," Kobyakov said.
