Rostelecom could pay 16.5 bln rubles in 2015 dividends
MOSCOW. May 23 (Interfax) - Rostelecom's board of directors have recommended to shareholders the payment of 16.5 billion rubles in dividends for 2015, or 5.92 rubles on all types of shares, the telco said in a statement following a board meeting.
Shareholders registered as of May 3, 2016 have the right to participate in the annual meeting. The dividend record date is July 8, 2016. Rostelecom's annual shareholder meeting will be June 21, 2016.
The total sum accounts for 75% of Rostelecom's free cash flow, in keeping with the company's new dividend policy for 2016-2018. According to that policy, for the three years 2015, 2016 and 2017, Rostelecom will pay no less than 45 billion rubles in dividends.
Rostelecom's free cash flow in 2015 fell by 19.6% to 22 billion rubles.
