List of entities permitted to export military products to be expanded - FSMTC
MOSCOW. May 24 (Interfax-AVN) - A federal law modifying the Military-Technical Cooperation Law will take effect on July 1, 2016, First Deputy Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) Andrei Boitsov said.
"The law gives management companies of integrated entities the possibility of receiving the right to foreign trade in military products," he said at a Rospatent board meeting on Tuesday.
"In fact, new subjects of military-technical cooperation will emerge here, beside the club of enterprises and organizations which already have the right to deliver military products; this is primarily a question of component parts and after-sales services," Boitsov said.
"We have proposed the inclusion of 11 management companies of integrated entities in the list of organizations permitted to export military products," he said.
Boitsov mentioned United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), United Shipbuilding Corporation, NPO High Precision Systems, Radio-Electronic Technologies Concern, Techmash, NPO Avrora and Morinformsistema-Agat Concern amongst them.
