West's indecision in fighting terrorism prevents final solution of this problem - Russian Foreign Ministry
MOSCOW. May 26 (Interfax) - Western countries do not have the political will to fight terrorism, which ruins any proposal of Russia to take practical steps in Syria, amongst other places, Deputy Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry Department on New Threats and Challenges Vladimir Andreyev said.
"The thing is that Western countries do not have the political will [...]; this ruins any concrete steps we can offer, including a global coalition to fight terrorism; they always bump into certain situations which make it impossible to resolve the terrorism problem once and for all," Andreyev said at a Federation Council roundtable on Thursday.
Russia and the West could cooperate in fighting terrorism in Syria but "there is a certain limit where everything stops," he said.
