Another two populated localities join reconciliation process in Syria, their total number rises to 128 - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. June 1 (Interfax-AVN) - Truce agreements were signed with representatives of two populated localities in the provinces of Homs and Daraa in the past 24 hours, the Russian center for reconciliation of opposing sides in Syria said.

"The number of populated localities, which have joined the reconciliation process, has risen to 128," the center said in its report published on the Russian Defense Ministry's website on Tuesday.

Negotiations continued with field commanders of armed opposition units acting in the provinces of Aleppo, al-Quneitra and Hama on their accession to the regime of the cessation of hostilities, the report said.
