Russian oil export duty rises $14.6 to $80.6 per tonne
MOSCOW. June 1 (Interfax) - Russia's export duty on oil increased by $14.6 to $80.6 per tonne on June 1 from $66 in May, the Economic Development Ministry reported.
The discount export duty for oil from Eastern Siberia, Caspian fields and the Prirazlomnoye field will remain at zero as of June 1 due to the new calculation formula adopted as part of the tax maneuver in the oil industry (it decreased to zero as of February 1, 2015).
The duty on high viscosity oil rose to $9.6 from $7.7 in May.
The duty on light oil products and motor oils increased to $32.2 per tonne as of June 1 and the duty on dark oil products to $66 from respectively $26.4 and $54.1 in May.
The export duties on commercial gasoline and straight-run gasoline (naphtha) grew to $49.1 and $57.2 per tonne respectively on June 1 from $40.2 and $46.8 in May.
The duty on liquefied gas remained at zero, because under the formula for calculating it if the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is lower than $490 per tonne the duty becomes zero.
The duty on coke has increased to $5.20 from $4.20 per tonne.
