Russia doubles output of electronic space industry components, equipment failures halve - RSS head

MOSCOW. June 1 (Interfax) - The domestic production of the microelectronic components for space industry doubled in 2015, Andrey Tyulin, the CEO of the Russian Space Systems (RSS), the company producing the electronic components, told reporters on Wednesday.

"We were drawing up the preliminary balance and discovered a phenomenon - we have doubled the production, while the number of failures of electronic equipment halved," he said.
