OSCE reports increase in ceasefire breaches in Luhansk region

LUHANSK. June 3 (Interfax) - Observers from the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) have this week registered 244 explosions of an unidentified origin in the area of Stanitsa Luhanska, the OSCE press service told Interfax on Friday.

"In the Luhansk region, the SMM registered an increase in the number of ceasefire breaches, primarily in the late hours of May 31 and in the early hours of June 1. Being in Stanitsa Luhanska (a settlement controlled by the government, 16km northeast of Luhansk), the SMM heard 244 explosions of an unidentified origin 2.5-6km southeast, south and southwest of its position," the report says.
