Turkish PM calls for settling Karabakh conflict on basis of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan
BAKU. June 3 (Interfax) - The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict can be settled solely on the basis of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said.
"The OSCE Minsk Group comes together and breaks up. It's time to act. Those who make decisions in a minute and execute them, demonstrate a different attitude to both Azerbaijan and Turkey. This conflict will be settled as soon as the occupied territories of Azerbaijan are returned. The time has come when the international community must reject the use of double standards," Yildirim said at the press conference held jointly with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, according to Azerbaijan's media.
Yildirim underlined that Ankara always supports Azerbaijan in relation to the Karabakh problem. "A friend of Azerbaijan is our friend; an enemy is our enemy. Turkey always backs Azerbaijan in respect of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue," Yildirim said.
