Poroshenko expects two Ukrainians convicted by Russia may be freed in June

KYIV. June 3 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko expects that Ukrainian citizens Yury Soloshenko, and Hennady Afanasyev, who have been convicted in Russia, may be returned to Ukraine in June.

"These negotiations are continuing now. And they concern primarily Afanasyev and Soloshenko. I will be very cautious about dates, but I cannot rule out that this could happen in June," Poroshenko said at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday.
