Armenia can buy weapons from CSTO countries on preferential terms - Bordyuzha
YEREVAN. June 8 (Interfax) - Armenia may modernize its armed forces by buying weapons and military equipment in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on preferential terms, CSTO General Secretary Nikolai Bordyuzha said.
"There are many forms for that. The main thing is the agreement on preferential military-technical cooperation in the CSTO system. It means that Armenia can buy weapons from manufacturing factories at preferential prices," he told reporters in Yerevan on Wednesday.
The CSTO is a regional international organization. It comprises Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
