DPR reports continuing shellings, one militiaman killed, one injured

DONETSK. June 9 (Interfax) - Ukrainian troops shelled the village of Trudivske in Donetsk; one militiaman was killed, another one injured, the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) said.

"Two projectiles landed near a kindergarten in the village of Trudivske today at 11.30 a.m.," Eduard Basurin, a representative of the DPR Defense Ministry, told reporters on Thursday.

He said that a total of 44 buildings were damaged in the past 24 hours, in Yasynuvata, Donetsk, Makiivka and Horlivka. "One militiaman was injured, one killed," he said.

He said that a total of 16 people were injured and two were killed, one of them a militiaman and another a civilian, in the past 24 hours.

"Fifteen civilians and one militiaman were injured," he said.
