Russian Interior Ministry not planning to reinforce its group during Euro 2016 in France
MOSCOW. June 12 (Interfax) - The Russian Interior Ministry sees no need to send more officers to provide safety at football matches during the 2016 UEFA European championship in France.
"There is no need to reinforce the group of Russian police officers participating in providing public order during the 2016 European football championship," Interior Ministry spokesperson Irina Volk told Interfax.
There were earlier reports of occasional clashes between football fans, in particular, the supporters of Russia and England teams.
