Stories about 200 Russian fans harassing 20,000 Brits in Marseille are not serious - Mutko

MOSCOW. June 15 (Interfax) - The statements that organized groups of Russian fans participated in the riots in Marseille have not been confirmed yet, Russian Sports Minister and Russian Football Union President Vitaly Mutko said.

"I was in Marseille, I came to the center of the city, it's impossible to walk there: 10,000-20,000 people, British men with naked torsos are shouting 'We are English, we can do anything,' there is foul language and insults against Russians. How was it possible that 200 of our guys came and harassed those 20,000? It's unclear. Now they [the Brits] are saying that they [Russians] were organized, they are now verifying but they can't find those organized ones. IT's all, of course, not serious," Mutko said.
