Ukrainian army searches Stanitsa Luhanska for relatives of LPR residents - Luhansk

LUHANSK. June 16 (Interfax) - A number of Stanitsa Luhanska residents have gone missing after having been summoned for questioning by the Ukrainian Security Service, self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) militia spokesman Andrei Marochko said.

"Our intelligence has found out that representatives of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Interior Ministry and the Ukrainian Security Service are jointly searching for relatives of LPR residents in the populated locality of Stanitsa Luhanska," the Luhansk information center quoted Marochko as saying on Thursday.

"Those individuals are accused of abetting servicemen of the LPR militia. A number of local residents allegedly detained by the Ukrainian Security Service for questioning have also gone missing," he said.

The missing residents eventually pop up as 'prisoners of war' on the lists of exchanges with Ukraine, Marochko said.
