Putin and Juncker discuss general situation in Russia-EU relations rather than sanctions themselves - Peskov

ST. PETERSBURG. June 17 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker did not discuss the issue of sanctions at their meeting on Thursday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

"Sanctions as such were not discussed. The sides addressed the situation where we found ourselves effectively in conditions of frozen relations between Russia and the EU," he said.
