Russian govt discussing payment of interim dividends by oil, gas cos - Dvorkovich

ST. PETERSBURG. June 17 (Interfax) - The Russian government is discussing the issue of interim dividend payments by state oil and gas companies, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich told Interfax.

He did not name the companies, saying only that these are companies of the "oil and gas sector."

A decision might be made in a month at the earliest, Dvorkovich said. He did not comment on the amount of dividends being discussed.
