Karelian lake accident kills 14 children, no adult casualties - Russian Investigative Committee
MOSCOW. June 19 (Interfax) - There are no adults amongst casualties of the boat wreck in Karelia, Russian Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin told Interfax.
"Investigators have finalized the examination of 14 bodies and have established that all of them are camp residents born in 2002-2004. There are no adult casualties," he said.
"This is another proof that none of the instructors accompanying those children took the necessary efforts to save the children; instead they were thinking about saving their own lives," Markin said.
