Putin calls on parliamentarians to continue making annual reports on state of Russian legislation

MOSCOW. June 22 (Interfax) - The practice of reports on the state of Russian legislation made by both chambers of the Russian parliament should continue, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"We should definitely continue the practice of annual reports on the state of Russian legislation. They are made by both chambers of the Federal Assembly in cooperation with the regions' legislators," he told State Duma deputies on Wednesday.

The president also said continuity plays an important role in law-making work. "It ensures not only the quality of legal base, but also the authority of the entire Russian jurisdiction," he said.
