Istanbul Airport resumes normal operation

MOSCOW. June 29 (Interfax) - Istanbul Ataturk Airport has resumed normal operation.

The airport is operating normally although consequences of the explosion naturally remain visible, the Rossiya-24 channel (VGTRK) said.

Detectives are working at the crime scene to identify the terrorists and to establish the way they came to Turkey. It is already known that the terrorists came to the airport by taxi and started shooting as soon as they stepped out of the car.

Security was tightened on the airport premises and in the city.

Suicide bombers blew themselves up at Istanbul Ataturk Airport on Tuesday evening. The local authorities said that the terror attack took 36 lives and injured 147 people. Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim believes that the ISIL terrorist organization (banned in Russia) was behind the attack on Istanbul Ataturk Airport.
