PABSEC calls inadmissible parliamentarians' inclusion in blacklists, 'stop-lists' - Naryshkin

MOSCOW. June 30 (Interfax) - The Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) opposed sanctions against parliamentarians at its session in Moscow, State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin said after the PABSEC General Assembly session.

"I would like to mention the final declaration, which underlines the need for 'unhampered and full cooperation and free communication between parliamentarians', amongst other decisions," Naryshkin told reporters on Thursday.

PABSEC members called the attention of the international community to "the inadmissibility of putting parliamentarians on various kinds of blacklists and stop-lists," he said.

These practices are at variance with the principles of parliamentarianism, democratic values and interests of our people, he said.
