MOSCOW. July 1 (Interfax-AVN) - Groups of the Jabhat al-Nusra international terrorist organization (banned in Russia) continue to obstruct a final cessation of hostilities, the Russian center for reconciliation of opposing sides in Syria said.

"The terrorists fired multiple rocket launchers and mortars on the populated localities of Handrat, al-Hader and Hitbatkhirs in the Aleppo province and the Sheikh Maqsood, al-Khalidiyah and Meidan neighborhoods and al-Nayrab airport in the city of Aleppo in the past 24 hours," the center said in a report posted on the Russian Defense Ministry website on Thursday.

The populated localities of Beinurin, Huteita al-Jarash, al-Sakhiyah, Bleliye, Kabun and Bahariyah, a rail bridge near Meidan in the Damascus province and the town of Fua'a in the Idlib province also came under terrorist attacks over the past day.

"The driver of a chartered truck was seriously injured in the town of Eastern Harasta (Damascus province) in an attack of militants from the Jaysh al-Islam group identifying itself as opposition," the report said.
