Armenian president hopes for approval of CSTO collective security strategy until 2025
YEREVAN. July 4 (Interfax) - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan expressed hope that the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Council of Foreign Ministers session will take place in a constructive atmosphere and that the CSTO collective security strategy until 2025 will be approved, the presidential press service said.
The press service said that Sargsyan held a meeting with the members of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers and the organization's Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha in Yerevan on Monday.
The Armenian president also pointed to the importance of the subsequent implementation of the agreements in principle on vital interests of the CSTO member countries at international venues.
