LPR reports 18 strikes by Ukrainian army in past 24 hours

LUHANSK. July 5 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces have conducted strikes against the territory of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) in the past 24 hours, using mortars and grenade launchers on some occasions, a LPR people's militia spokesman said.

"Eighteen truce violations committed by the Ukrainian army have been recorded from July 4 to July 5," the spokesman said.

The Ukrainian military used 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers, infantry fighting vehicle weapons and small arms against the populated localities of Stanitsa Luhanska, Kalynivka, Lohvynove, Lozove, Khryashchevka, Berehove, Sokolniki, Kalynove, and Sanzharivka on July 4, he said.

"There have been no losses as a result of the strikes," he said.
