Ukraine won't recognize legitimacy of leaders of self-proclaimed Donetsk, Luhansk republics - foreign minister

KYIV. July 6 (Interfax) - Ukraine will not agree to recognize the legitimacy of the de facto leaders of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics (DPR and LPR), Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said.

"I want to state that it is impossible to legitimize those who have been swept into power today owing to Russia's aggression," Klimkin said at a joint press conference with Norwegian Foreign Minister Borge Brende in Kyiv on Wednesday.
