EU, NATO joint declaration on intensifying cooperation becomes "crutch" for European Union after Great Britain's "amputation" - Grushko
MOSCOW. July 11 (Interfax) - The EU-NATO declaration adopted in Warsaw to intensify cooperation has become a "crutch" for the EU after Brexit, Russian Permanent Representative to NATO Alexander Grushko said.
"It is noteworthy that the EU-NATO declaration on cooperation was adopted. It is apparent that Warsaw saw a crutch added to the European Union after [British Prime Minister David] Cameron did a surgery amputating a part of the European Union," Grushko said on Rossiya-24 (VGTRK) television.
"Now, the European Union and NATO will join efforts in the struggle against hybrid threats, to protect cyberspace and will work together in the field of strategic communications. This is how counterpropaganda and agitation are translated into the Western language," Grushko added.
