Medvedev signs resolution creating priority development territory in Yurga

MOSCOW. July 13 (Interfax) - Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed a resolution on creation of a priority development territory in Yurga, Kemerovo region.

The priority development territory will facilitate "creation of over 2,000 jobs that are not connected with the city's mainstay enterprise," Medvedev said in opening remarks at a government meeting on Wednesday.

The mainstay enterprise in Yurga is the Yurginsky Machine Engineering Plant.
