Medvedev signs resolution creating Trans-Baikal priority development territory

MOSCOW. July 20 (Interfax) - Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed the resolution creating a priority development area in the city of Krasnokamensk, Zabaykalsky territory, according to a statement on the official government website.

The Krasnokamensk priority development area has been created "in order to facilitate the city's development by raising investment and creating new jobs unrelated to the operations of the city's backbone enterprise, Priargunsky Mining and Chemical Works ," the statement says.
