Peskov believes it's wrong to even hypothetically speak about attack by Russia on any country

MOSCOW. July 21 (Interfax) - Russian presidential press officer Dmitry Peskov has called the assumptions on the possibility of Russia attacking other countries "the wrong wording."

"I would not like to comment on the issue of other countries' obligations to the U.S. in any way. Russia has obligations in terms of ensuring European global strategic security and Russia is doing this job very well," Peskov told reporters responding to a request to comment on the statement by U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump saying that the U.S. will come to assist a NATO country if it is attacked by Russia, but only if this country fulfils its obligations to the U.S.

"As to even saying the phrase about a hypothetical attack by Russia on anyone in vain, it's not a good wording," Peskov said.
