Self-proclaimed Luhansk republic head Plotnytsky suffers liver, spleen injuries in bomb attack - source
MOSCOW. Aug 6 (Interfax) - Doctors have diagnosed injuries to some vital organs of self-proclaimed Luhansk people's republic (LPR) head Ihor Plotnytsky after he survived a bomb attack on Saturday morning, a source at the hospital told Interfax.
"Plotnytsky has been diagnosed with fragmentation wounds, including those to the liver and the spleen," the source said.
Doctors have managed to stabilize Plotnytsky's condition, the source said. "He underwent emergency surgery, which passed successfully. Then Plotnytsky was transferred to an intensive care unit," he said.
