Georgia maintains line on country's peaceful 'uniting' - Georgian PM
TBILISI. Aug 8 (Interfax) - There is no alternative to Georgia's peaceful 'uniting', Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.
"We should continue consistent policy, in which the peace-making process plays a very important role. We should make our country appealing and interesting for all. Certainly, this process will develop with the aid of the global community," he told reporters following a visit to the Mukhadgverdi cemetery, where the Georgian servicemen killed in hostilities in South Ossetia in August 2008 are buried.
He pointed out that "peace has no alternative, and the government will take all measures for such bloodshed not to repeat again in Georgia."
